Figure Finder Release 1.0

Imagine this: You're at work; It's 2:50 PM, and your boss is standing over you, demanding when that slide deck is going to be finished. "Uh, yeah boss. Just gotta find some data points", you reply, hoping that he backs away.
Rather impatiently, your boss leans in and says, "we need it in 10 minutes." Your eyes are now nervously racing across the web page in front of you. Sweat beads on your forehead as you search for numbers somewhere, anywhere on the page. And the clock ticks unrelentingly.
I hope that uncomfortable situation does not sound familiar, but if it does, I have the tool to help in these rather dire situations. Introducing Figure Finder. Sound cheesy? You might not be saying that when it helps you become the answer man in times of high stress. Let's play that situation again. Except this time, you have handy dandy Figure Finder installed in your toolbar.
You're at work (sorry, this one doesn't change). It's 2:50 PM and your boss is standing over you. "Hey, you have that deck ready?", he asks you impatiently. "Yeah boss, I pulled up that research paper you told me to look at" (you subtlety click on the flat-faced Figure Finder icon). As the data points spring off the page to meet your squinted face mid-way to the screen, you find just the one. "I found this good data point. I think it would work really well with our thesis", you proudly proclaim, pointing to the screen. Your boss nods approvingly and walks away. Day is saved, thanks to you. And your boss thinks you're a genius. Now, how's that for a change of scene?
While this may be a rare, and somewhat exaggerated scenario, Figure Finder is built with consultants and researchers in mind. As a former consultant myself, I always wished it were easier to quickly determine what data points, if any, were present in an article. With this tool, you can easily do that. Check it out on the <Chrome Store> now.
